Carolyne is an Agent and Horse, Farm, and Liability insurance specialist. She holds the Agribusiness and Farm Insurance Specialist (AFIS) designation.

Organizations

Carolyne is a member of the United States Equestrian Federation and United States Hunter Jumper Association. She formerly served on the USHJA Zone 4 Jumper then Hunter/Jumper Committee as treasurer from 2014 to 2020. Carolyne is an avid runner and hiker and serves as a coach for the Girls on the Run program.

Personal​

Carolyne’s family has been involved with horses for several generations. She is a lifelong horsewoman and now rides her horse for pleasure. She competes in dog agility and dog obedience. Carolyne is married to Philip Gunn Tanner, a commercial general contractor. They enjoy spending time with their family and grandchildren and live on a small farm full of dogs, horses, and cats.
