Laura became an insurance agent in 1990. She founded Connaway & Associates Equine Insurance Services, Inc. in 1992. Connaway & Associates specializes in insuring horses and horse farms in the United States, Canada and Europe. The agency has grown to one of the largest insurance agencies of its kind in the United States.
She holds the Agribusiness and Farm Insurance Specialist (AFIS) designation.

Competitor

Laura enjoys producing young jumpers from their first experiences under saddle to the FEI Grand Prix level. She is also a competitive runner, participating in road races at distances ranging from 5K to marathon, including qualifying and competing in the Boston Marathon.

Organizations

Laura is a member of the United States Equestrian Federation, United States Hunter Jumper Association, United States Dressage Federation, and Little Rock RoadRunners. She is a supporter of the Hooved Animal Humane Society, Pulaski County Humane Society and she is an animal rescuer herself. Laura is also a sponsor of special event horse shows including those that benefit Special Olympics and Cancer Research. She volunteers for road races as well.

Laura is married to John D. Naill, III. Together they live on a farm next to Pinnacle Mountain State Park with their horses, dogs & cats.
